Compass Colorado launches petition to urge Mark Udall to agree to televised debates
DENVER (September 16, 2014) – Today Compass Colorado launched an online petition to urge U.S. Senator Mark Udall to find the time for televised debates against his opponent, Congressman Cory Gardner. The petition allows Coloradans the ability to express their displeasure with the Senator for refusing to prioritize an open dialogue. Denver’s CBS 4 covered Udall’s refusal to debate last week in a scathing report.

“How are Coloradans supposed to make a thoughtful decision on their ballot without the opportunity to compare the two candidates?” asked Kelly Maher, executive director of Compass Colorado. “Udall would rather spend his campaign money in a one-way political affront than have to answer to the people for his failed record. We all need to stand up to tell Udall that we all deserve the chance for a real conversation this election.”
