DENVER (June 3, 2015) – This afternoon, Governor John Hickenlooper vetoed two bipartisan bills outlawing the use of red light cameras. These vetoes where hinted at by the Governor late last month.

“I’m disappointed that the Governor has once again completely ignored the best interests of the people of Colorado,” said Kelly Maher, executive director of Compass Colorado. “These bills had broad, bipartisan support – and Hickenlooper’s disregard of Coloradans is saddening, although not surprising.”
