DENVER (May 21, 2015) – Yesterday, Complete Colorado uncovered a fact-sheet on striking distributed by the Jefferson County Education Association (JCEA) to association representative teachers. The JCEA is currently in the midst of contract negotiations with the district.

“It’s clear that the JCEA is negotiating in bad faith if they’re distributing ‘fact sheets’ about striking in the district,” said Kelly Maher, executive director of Compass Colorado. “This is a move designed to intimidate and antagonize the district leaders, and the people who ultimately suffer from this posturing are the children.”
