DEAR SENATOR CORY GARDNER,

Colorado families count on access to quality and affordable healthcare and prescription drugs, that’s why Colorado families on the Eastern Plains, Front Range and Western Slope need our elected officials to work for us in Washington.

• Worked across the aisle to repeal the Health Insurance Tax, which The Joint Committee on Taxation estimates saved taxpayers $100 billion in cost over the next ten years (S. 172, S.80).
• Pushed Colorado’s Reinsurance plan through, saving Coloradans an estimated 18.2 percent on their insurance premiums.
• Fighting for more transparency and therefore more predictability and favorable prescription drug pricing by sponsoring the Prescription Drug Price Reporting Act.

In this highly charged political environment constituents rarely get the opportunity to thank our elected representatives, so today I would like to say thank you and encourage you to continue to rise above the partisan politics and focus on solutions that will make a difference for Colorado families.
