  • After almost 12 hours of testimony yesterday (and early this morning) the oil and gas omnibus bill passed its first committee. Criticisms from opponents included complaints the process is being forced through quickly, without stakeholders or rural Coloradans at the table, and that it’s a bridge too far.
  • It’s possible that because this is so contentious – Governor Polis pulled out of a public-radio sponsored debate Thursday on the issue.
