DENVER — This evening, Democrat presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders spoke before donors in downtown Denver.  

Kelly Maher, executive director of Compass Colorado, released the following statement regarding the show: 

“Hillary Clinton is running scared. After only winning Iowa by a few coin-tosses, suffering a blistering defeat in New Hampshire and polls showing her deadlocked with Bernie Sanders in Nevada, she knows that she is on the cusp of losing her party’s nomination for a second time. Tonight, we saw her fear come through as she begged Colorado Democrats to stand by her, but did not offer any new, inspiring ideas to fix our country.”
