As we get closer to election day there are a lot of moving parts and things of which to be aware. But here are the top points:

• When Polis sat down with Joe St. George to talk about the 1999 incident with his secretary, the account he gave of her being “arrested,” “serving probation” and having to “pay restitution” doesn’t match up with the actual police and court documents. 
• Jared Polis might try to make himself into a different person depending on the audience, so it was weirdly refreshing to have Bernie Sanders in town to tell everyone how radically progressive Polis really is. 
• Jared Polis is on the defense about his carbon tax comments – he’s calling his own words “fake news”.
